The starting salary is £36,438 per annum (including London allowance). This is the expected starting salary for this position, but appointment to a higher level may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the position.
Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Politics, International Relations and Philosophy. The position is full-time and runs until July 31, 2024. The start date is negotiable, provided it is no later than February 1, 2023.
The post holder will undertake research in the framework of Professor Joost van Spanje’s ERC Consolidator Grant project “New Parties on the News”, including, within a team of ten colleagues, designing and conducting experimental research and non-experimental, analysis and writing results. The work may include the co-supervision of a doctoral student.
Applicants must have their PhD in Political Science, Communication Science, Sociology or Computer Science reviewed prior to the start date. In their career to date, applicants should have experience with research design and quantitative research methods. Additional training may be provided to the successful candidate.
